Android-OctoRemote

OctoRemote installation and setup

1. Search for the keyword turbineemo in the Google Play Store, or download and install OctoRemote from the link below
OctoRemote 1.3.5




2. Open OctoRemote, in the Add Printer interface, enter the print name, such as my3dprinter




3. In the IP Address field, enter the IP address displayed on the Spark Network Control Box screen, such as 192.168.10.13




4. Use the computer to open the page of the Spark network control box, enter the parameter setting interface, FEATURES→ API, and the QR code corresponding to the API Key is displayed on the screen.




5. Click the QR code icon on the OctoRemote interface and use the camera to scan the QR code on the computer screen




6. Click the button to the right of Enable webcam to open the camera setting options, and change the Webcam URL to
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/?action=stream
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP Address above




7. Click ADD PRINTER to complete the printer setup





OctoRemote Features

1. Print task interface, showing the status of the printer and the progress of the current print task



The interface is sliding, and it is a file list that displays the printable files in the Spark system and the printer SD card.
Click the blue icon in the lower right corner to upload the gcode file




2. Temperature control interface, set and display the temperature change curve of nozzle and heating platform




3. Manual control interface, which can control the home position of the printer, and the jog control of each motion axis




4. Communication terminal interface, displaying real-time communication data between the Spark system and the printer, or manually sending GCode instructions to the printer




5. Recording management interface, you can set the parameters of automatic recording and download the completed recording video files




6. Slice interface, only available after the Slice engine plugin is installed on the Spark system
Because the Spark system has limited memory and the slicing speed is slow, it is recommended to use Wiibuilder for slicing and upload to the Spark system with one click. For details, see
Wiibuilder online printing and monitoring





IOS system-OctoPad

OctoPod installation and setup

1. Search for the keyword octoprint in the App Store, find OctoPod for OctoPrint and install




2. After opening OctoPod, click the plus sign in the upper right corner of the interface to add a printer




3. In the Printer Name field, enter a name, such as WEEDO 3d printer
In the Hostname field, enter the IP address displayed on the screen of the Spark network control box, such as http://192.168.10.13




4. Use the computer to open the page of the Spark network control box, enter the parameter setting interface, FEATURES→ API, and the QR code corresponding to the API Key is displayed on the screen.




5. Click the Scan API Key on the OctoPod interface. When prompted for an access request, click OK.



Scan the QR code of the API Key with the camera, and the API Key will be automatically entered into the input box of OctoPod



6. Click Save in the upper right corner of the interface to save the printer settings
\\If OctoPod prompts “Install OctoPod plugin for OctoPrint to …”, click Dismiss




OctoPod Features

1. Print task interface, showing the status of the printer and the progress of the current print task

3. Custom command interface, you need to install Custom Controls plug-in




4. System control menu, please refer to Spark toolbar
